Chimes Wall Tile
Chimes is part of a collection in collaboration with paper artist Merav Peleg. She finds her inspiration through the beauty and details in nature, its textures, in traditional art around the world as well as in fashion. The surface of this tile is adorned with slender rods or shapes arranged in a way that are reminiscent of chimes. The elements are strategically placed to serve a dual function: aesthetically enhancing the space and providing sound-dampening qualities. When sound waves hit the surface, the tiles' textured patterns and carefully designed shapes help to disperse and absorb the sound, reducing echoes and minimizing noise within the room.
Simply by changing their orientation on the wall, you can create an unlimited variety of patterns.
Chimes Wall Tile is comprised of two tiles that can be used together or independently to create an unlimited number of patterns.
